According to the Infrared Report released by wildfire.gov (link below), the Camp Creek Fire has grown overnight and throughout the day today (Sunday 8-27-23).

The worst part is that it’s getting close to one of the largest freshwater supplies around, The Bull Run.

The body of water to the left in the image is our freshwater reservoir, but we are being told that the water is still safe to drink, so that’s good. We have friends and family in the area so we will keep you posted if that changes on the ground.
