Greg Biffle just biffed Caleb Shrader Racing in the NASCAR Pacific Office Automation 147 ARCA Menards Series West race today at Portland International Raceway.
Yep, the Biffmister himself took out our main man Caleb Shrader Racing today and sent Caleb Shrader into the rough.
We have the exclusive pre-race and post-race interviews with Caleb Shrader Racing and the one and only Greg Biffle.
Here’s what happened from the front lines in the pits.

UPDATED 2:23pm 9/04/25 – Greg Biffle admits his race car was “loose” before Tokyo Drifting in Caleb Shrader Racing. We have just received a confirmed post-race comment made by the legendary Greg Biffle in which he admits his car was “loose” on the of August 29th when he drifted into Caleb Shrader Racing and pushed him into the rough. The day started off with a bang in an early morning limo bus transport for The Dirt Darlin’s 501(c)(3) non-profit followed by the Zebra Limo from JMI Auto Insurance Portland Racing Team & JMI Limo Service Portland holding it down for Caleb Shrader Racing to help launch the Next #1 Girl Racer in Oregon search that Caleb is leading as honorary Team Captain.

PRE-RACE
When we got to the races, it was awesome! Caleb was there signing autographs for fans, The Dirt Darlins’ were tearing it up on the stage with their pompoms. The wood fire pizza was great. Shawn got the churro. Even Hudson O’Harrow from the 4T1 Motorsports & HPE team was there to cheer for Caleb. It was so much fun, you have to go at least once in your life to experience it for yourself.
THE RACE
When the race started, Caleb was making great progress, despite some slippery spots on the track that we caught on film. It was dicey! Coming out of the last turn into the straight by the tower, you could see the rear ends of the race cars slide out after a racer’s engine failed. We watched him pit, something had obviously blown, and I think he left some fluid on the track in that turn.
By mid race, Caleb had made some good moves and was gapping those he passed by car lengths as he blew their doors off.
Caleb was on the move!
Next came the cautions, there were a couple, and those Caleb had left behind were now on his tail riding the bumper waiting for restart.
This is where things got a little murky because I was not in direct line of sight to see what happened next.
BIFFED BY BIFFLE
Caleb Shrader Racing was on a tear coming in hot into turn 1 chicane like a bald eagle, when Greg the Biffmister Biffle sent Caleb Shrader off the track.
In one foul swoop, Greg Biffle rained on our parade for Caleb Shrader Racing to win the big race and help spread the word about the Next #1 Girl Racer in Oregon search that already has over a dozen young ladies registered in the first two days. Great start if you ask me, but a win today would have really helped reach more new young drivers.
Caleb fought back, and you could see it on the track as he dipped through traffic to gain back ground, which he did. However, in the end, there weren’t enough laps in the race for Caleb to make up the ground lost by Biffle’s Biff move, but if they had gone another 57 laps more, Caleb would be back on top. Caleb has the heart of a lion and he puts it all into every race, so I know he would have beat the Biffmister in the end.
POST-RACE
After the race, I went to the pits to find Caleb, but he wasn’t there. I snapped so good B-roll clips and Celeb returned as I was leaving.
Caleb was obviously bummed because of what happened, and he said the classic line “if you ain’t rubbing, you ain’t racing” with a smile on his face, followed that noticeable half smile smirk we have all seen before, but “…that was dirty, and if it wasn’t Greg Biffle I’d be mad…”
The team was already packed up at that point and the tents were loaded, so they left for the day, and I went to find the legendary Greg Biffle for an exclusive interview.
This is what happened…
I was heading back to the Zebra to leave when I saw Greg Biffle and his team loading up, too. Naturally, I turned and walked straight over to say hi and ask some lowkey questions.
To be 100% fair to Greg, he didn’t know I was interviewing him. I started by asking for a pic, rather than start with tough questions, like, why did you Biff us bro!?
Today is the first time I met Greg Biffle, and he’s actually a really nice guy. I watched him sign autographs for countless fans, he took pics with everyone, including me, and he is just a really approachable nice guy. I guess that is, unless you’re on the track! Greg, Biffmister, Biffaroo, bro, why’d you crash Caleb man, not cool, but this next part is where he toooooootally redeems himself!
I asked Greg Biffle why he took out our hometown hero Caleb Shrader and this is what he said…
“Yeah that was the spotter, I feel really bad about it…”
As the crates were being loaded and Greg started to walk off, I walked with him for one more question.
I said, “I love what you and Cleetus are doing over there at the Freedom Factory and we should do something with you and Caleb,” and he replied.
“Yeah, those guys are a lot of fun. That’d be great, Cleetus loves racing…”
And that’s when the crew officially asked us to move out of the way. Greg had to leave, so we said goodbye.
But like I said, he was really nice, and the fact he even took a pic with me and took the extra time to speak to me really shines a light on his love for racing, his dedication to the fans, and passion for the sport.
Now, it sounds like we might have the most epic rematch of all times happening between Greg Biffle and Caleb Shrader with the legendary Cleetus McFarland at the Freedom Factory!

Let’s be clear though, like I said, Greg did not know I was going to write this article when he said it, but he said it.
I did ask him if I could tag him when I posted it (the pic), and he said yes, so here’s the tag, Greg, you’re it! Let’s follow through on this with Caleb Shrader at the Freedom Factory with Cleetus running the show to make sure you don’t biff, again. It would be a blast, and all the racing fans in Oregon, Washington, and the entire PNW would tune into that epic showdown, especially if Cleet is making the competition and the rules so Greg the Biffmister Biffle doesn’t biff, again.

Caleb Shrader Racing Team read this article and have responded with a BTS pre-race pic of Caleb Shrader and Greg Biffle, just hours before the historic biff occurred. I asked Caleb’s team manager if they would be interested in a rematch at the Freedom Factory whenever possible, and they said, “He’d love it!” Well folks, it looks like Team Caleb Shrader Racing just accepted an invite to the Freedom 500 if available, and or any said challenge that Cleetus and the crew can dream up for Greg Biffle and Caleb Shrader to battle it out for bragging rights where everyone in the racing community wins.
