PORTLAND, OR: The Pacific Northwest racing scene is heating up as JMI Auto Insurance Portland and Oregon’s #1 Race Team, Caleb Shrader Racing (CSR), announce the launch of an unprecedented search for the Next #1 Girl Racer in Oregon.
Fresh off three consecutive championships, hometown favorite Caleb Shrader Racing will serve as Honorary Team Captain for the competition. Joining him is 8-year-old karting sensation Hudson O’Harrow, who recently claimed his eighth Oregon State Karting Championship Series (OSKCS) title in his Nitro Kart with 4T1 Motorsports and Harbaugh Performance Engines.
This community-driven effort is supported by local racing family businesses including Pat’s Acres Racing Complex, JMI Limousine, PipeWrench PDX, Envi Adventures, and non-profit partner The Dirt Darlins 501(c)(3).
Viral Star, Local Hero
Caleb Shrader isn’t just dominating the track—he’s also gone viral off it. His recent singing race car driver video earned over 6 million views on YouTube Shorts, proving he’s Portland’s hometown racing hero both online and behind the wheel.

The competition kicks off this September and October at Pat’s Acres Racing Complex with timed lap sessions.

How It Works
The program runs on the Arrive & Drive Race Training model, a hands-on experience that gives young drivers access to professional-grade karts, tires, fuel, safety gear, and coaching—without the high costs of ownership.
CSR, 4T1 Motorsports, HPE, and Hudson O’Harrow lead training, while a dedicated team of “Supermoms” coordinates onboarding, scheduling, and race-day logistics.
